Nobody Builds a Career Alone: The Human Side of Red Pico

Nobody builds a career alone. I certainly didn't.

This year alone I've had the privilege of speaking at ComUnity Canada's AI & FinTech event, presenting at Project Management Institute Lakeshore's Ignite conference, organizing with GDG Mississauga, and moderating panels for young professionals finding their footing.

People sometimes ask why I make time for it.

Here is the honest answer: every room teaches me something.

• The student asking a "basic" question forces me to explain things clearly.
• The founder pitching their idea shows me problems I didn't know existed.
• The new immigrant navigating their first Canadian job reminds me what courage actually looks like.

Leadership content is everywhere. Leadership practice is rarer.

You find it in rooms where you give more than you take.

So here is my challenge for this week: make one introduction, answer one question, or open one door for someone earlier in their journey than you.

It compounds. I promise.
